Stowebury Home & Grounds was born on a nearly 200-year-old dairy farm on Perry Hill in Waterbury, Vermont. Five acres of sloping land, a timber frame house that's seen generations of Vermont winters, and a small herd of goats that keep us honest about what it really means to care for a property.

We know what it takes to maintain old land and old buildings — because we do it every day. From repairing centuries-old trim to building post and beam barns with locally sourced materials, craftsmanship isn't something we talk about. It's how we live. That love of caretaking is exactly what we bring to every property we serve.

Our founder Chad Waryas trained at Yestermorrow Design/Build School and holds an MBA from the University of Michigan — bringing together hands-on craft and the operational discipline to back it up. Vermont property deserves care that matches the landscape it sits in. That's what we're here to provide.
